The North Dakota Department of Agriculture is offering a new grant opportunity to help farmers markets across the state increase visibility, attract more visitors, and boost specialty crop sales.
$25,000 is available through the Farmers Market Specialty Crop Marketing Grant Program. New and existing farmers markets with a current profile on the Local Foods Map Directory are eligible to apply for grants of up to $2,500.
Funding may be used for marketing and promotional materials that support the entire market, including branded tents or canopies, tablecloths, banners, signage, displays, flags, and printed promotional materials. Funds cannot be used for individual vendor promotion.
Application deadline: Friday, June 12
Applications will be evaluated competitively based on need, community impact, and the proposed work plan.
