The North Dakota Association of Regional Councils (NDARC) is a collaborative network of North Dakota’s eight regional councils dedicated to supporting local governments, businesses, and communities. Together, we advance regional planning, economic development, and community-driven solutions that strengthen communities across the state.
What Are Regional Councils?
Regional councils serve as a bridge between local and state efforts, helping communities plan for growth and access resources that improve quality of life. Established to promote cooperation and efficiency, regional councils bring together counties, cities, and other stakeholders to tackle challenges that cross jurisdictional boundaries, from housing and transportation to workforce and infrastructure.
Through NDARC, regional councils share expertise, advocate for regional priorities, and collaborate on statewide initiatives. Our collective goal is simple – to empower North Dakota communities to thrive through connection, innovation, and regional cooperation.
